After years of planning & hard work in their Catering Business, married couple Chef's Cristina & Jose Melendez along with Co-Owner Omar Melendez are finally establishing a unique concept that bring a modern take on traditional flavors from the Caribbean and Latin-America.
With Puerto Rican roots as well strong flavor influences from Mexico, Colombia, Cuba and Jamaica. Twisted Taino promises to deliver a unique eatery that fulfills nostalgia and transport Latin-Fused Cuisine lovers to the tropics.
Twisted Taino Restaurant will be opening doors in Parma on July 27th, 2021. A two Phase project that will be able to host up to 100 diners once completed. At the moment only Carry Out with some outside seating will be available.

ABOUT TAINOS
The Taíno were an indigenous people of the Caribbean. At the time of European contact in the late fifteenth century, they were the principal inhabitants of most of Cuba, Hispaniola (the Dominican Republic and Haiti), Jamaica, Puerto Rico, The Bahamas and the northern Lesser Antilles.
The Taíno were the first New World peoples to be encountered by Christopher Columbus during his 1492 voyage.
